How to treat PFOA, PFOS, and PFC in Your Drinking Water

PFOA (Perfluorooctanoic acid or perfluorooctanoate) and PFOS (perfluorooctane sulfonate) are chemicals that have been used in the United States since the 1940s in the manufacturing of popular consumer goods including Teflon, pesticides, household cleaning products, and other other items.
[PFOA and PFOS] are “extremely persistent in the environment and resistant to typical environmental degradation processes. They are widely distributed across the higher trophic levels and are found in soil, air and groundwater at sites across the United States. The toxicity, mobility and bioaccumulation potential of PFOS and PFOA pose potential adverse effects for the environment and human health.
The EPA has released a Drinking Water Advisory for PFOS which reveals potentially serious issues linking PFOS and PFOA to conditions like cancer, neuroendocrine conditions, cardiovascular problems, reproductive issues, and more.

I am happy with my new RO system. Salesman was great, Installation was great and office staff was great. The guy that installed my daughters softener system messed up badly by crossing hoses and ruining her new faucet, but the manager immediately made good on replacing her faucet and making sure it was done properly, so no issues. Very satisfied.
Every person we had interaction with who is very personable, efficient, and extremely helpful. I would recommend Culligan products to anyone as the physical equipment is very high-quality, and the installers know exactly what they are doing.
The big plus is you can rent their equipment for a very reasonable price every month as opposed to buying your own equipment at a big box store, spending a lot of money and then having to maintain it yourself and install it yourself. and, if the equipment malfunctions or breaks, Culligan will be out and repair or replace it for no extra charge.
The service man, I think his name is Chris, was very professional, easy to communicate with, and most efficient. Culligan is fortunate he represents the company.
Peggy 1st apologized for how busy they were and set my expectation for tomorrow or early next week. What a pleasant surprise when I got there and Tony and Tyler arrived to provide service. It was not only faster than I expected but service above expectation. They replaced the machine older machine and really impressed me with how professional and exceptional the service was.
